This is your campaign.
All are welcome.

Scott Barger’s campaign for state representative is a campaign to give taxpayers a steady voice for Constitutional principles, free people, and the dignity of every person. It’s a challenge to a culture of dealmaking and compromise that’s crippled conservative majorities and broken faith with the people who sent them to Harrisburg.

The Scott Barger campaign isn’t about one man’s journey into public service. It’s a story of the faith, work, patriotism, and civic mission of the people he hopes to represent in Harrisburg.

Agenda

ENACT A SCHOOL REPORT CARD

Hold schools accountable for declining results through a Florida-style public measurement.

BLOCK THE SHAPIRO ENERGY TAX

Permanently protect PA from the job-destroying Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative (RGGI).

ENACT WELFARE-TO-WORK

Boost family incomes and independence by requiring healthy, able-bodied citizens to perform work or community service to renew benefits.

DELIVER STATE PENSION REFORM

Shift new state workers to a 401-k-style retirement program, instead of the costly, budget-busting defined benefit plans.

DEFUND PLANNED PARENTHOOD

Pass Judy Ward’s plan to shift millions in tax dollars from Planned Parenthood to health centers who do not perform abortions.

PROTECT THE VOTE

Require Voter ID, clearer voter deadlines, and more transparency on outside, third-party funding.

RETAKE THE HOUSE

Support the election of a GOP House Speaker and the election of a conservative, pro-life, pro-taxpayer Republican House Majority.
